Shah Rukh Khan’s Untitled Next & Ajay Devgn’s Baadshaho Trailer To Be Attached With Salman Khan’s Tubelight
Refusing to pick between friends Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan will have both their trailers attached to his Eid release, Tubelight
5 years ago, when Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan found itself releasing on the same day as Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar, speculations were rife that the two actors refuse to eye to eye. However, the buzz was put to rest when a picture of them bonding over dinner in Bulgaria went viral in 2015.
Now, Shah Rukh and Ajay have found themselves in the same position, yet again. This time they are competing for their respective films’ trailer to be attached with Salman Khan’s Eid release – Tubelight. The films in question are Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma’s untitled next and Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta-starrer, Baadshaho.
But looks like Salman Khan is in no mood to pick between his two friends as the team has decided to attach trailers of both the films to Tubelight.
Confirming the development, Amar Butala, the CEO of Salman's banner, told a leading daily, "The makers of both films have approached us, and we have decided to attach the two trailers with our film."
While Baadshaho is a fictional story set against the backdrop of emergency in India (21-month period between 1975 and1977), Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma-starrer – directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a love story that showcases the actor as a tourist guide and Anushka, a Gujarati girl.
This is SRK and Anushka’s third collaboration after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
To talk of Tubelight, the film tells the story of an Indian man falling in love with a Chinese girl during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. Written by Neelesh Misra, the film is being produced by Salman Khan, Kabir Khan and Sunil Lulla.
